offer a two-axis cross slide, designed specifically for our Twister
LT-2AR. Rigid, all-steel construction makes it the perfect attachment for second
operation work including chamfering or burr removal. The compound features a .100" dial, the X-axis cross slide a .200" dial. They both can be zeroed instantly and the engraved numbers are very easy to read. Its low profile design allows ample room to mount your existing tooling. The compound swivels and can be locked at almost any angle. Both compound and X-axis have 2.4" of travel. Give it a try and you will see how much time and productivity you will gain by freeing up your production and toolroom lathes from deburring and chamfering. Lever Actuator Optionally, our cross slide can be equipped with an .850" travel
lever actuator, a The actuator is all-steel construction and features the same easy-to-read dial. A clamp permits the lever to be locked in place, so the dial may be used for setup or prototype work. Then simply unlock the clamp for rapid slide movement using the lever. The lever can be switched from its default right-hand side to the left, to allow for individual operator preferences. The default location of the lever actuator is the X axis. If desired it can be located on the compound instead. It is supplied with a .200" per rev dial normally. If it is to be installed on the compound it is suggested a .100" per rev dial is installed. If you prefer it to be fitted on the compoud please let us know there is no additional charge. We will mount the actuator to your new slide at the time of purchase. However, it is possible for existing owners of our cross slide to purchase the individual attachment and mount it themselves.
